Methodology – Clinical Process Control – Production of Care management method
Step 3 – Outcomes Readiness
In order for any heavily regulated clinical organization to improve clinical operations, it will be necessary to measure the Behavioral Health Unit's ability to fulfill the provisions of the rules and regulations defined in their operational set of organizational policy and procedures.
Outcomes Measurement
Our technology centered method provides the capability to inform each clinician of all the procedures and expected documentation that will be necessary for each patient each day. This information is displayed in the Daily Desktop.
Outcomes Control
All supervisors and managers have access to the Daily Desktop of their direct reports. This allows the supervisor to “drill down” to the specific patients that require overage reduction.
Outcomes Improvement
All supervisors and managers have access to the Executive information System. This system summarizes census by age, by payor source, by program, by referral source. This system summarizes all the processes in the patient care cycle. This system also summarizes all patients by admitting problem, diagnostic codes and treatment codes.
